The Massachusetts College of Emergency Physicians is a chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

MACEP is an organization of more than 850 emergency physicians that is dedicated to advancing excellence in emergency care, and advocating for emergency physicians, their patients and the health of the community. MACEP's efforts have had an enormous positive effect on the delivery of emergency care in Massachusetts and changes due to MACEP's efforts on the local level are recognized nationally.
